Fatemeh, our founder and Brow Queen, is an internationally trained microblading expert with over a decade of experience. She has graduated from the prestigious Phi Academy and has completed numerous perfection courses overseas in Italy, England, Australia, and Iran.
At Spa Mosman, we offer two eyebrow microblading options – Feather Brow Tattoo (also known as microblading) and Ombre Powder brow tattoo. Brow tattooing has come a long way from the dark, heavy block brows seen on people in the 80s and 90s! Our clients use this treatment to fill out thinning eyebrows, achieve a different shape, or just freshen their look, particularly if their eyebrows have been thinned out.
Fatemeh will do an initial consultation to discuss shape, color, and whether you need just powder, hairstroke, or a mix of both. She will explain the process of brow design and shape, and together you will craft your desired look. The results are fantastic and last around 12-18 months, depending on your skin type.
Brow microblading is a procedure that falls within the permanent cosmetic makeup category. Unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, the microblading eyebrow treatment is less invasive, has a much softer look, and is considered semi-permanent.

Looking for a natural and realistic-looking brow? Try our Feather Brow Tattoo (also known as microblading) at Spa Mosman! Our procedure is done using a hand tool with ultra-fine needles, gently etching each hair into the brow. This technique enables us to correct or fully reconstruct the brow for a natural-looking result. Pigment colour selection is based on your desired look, skin tone and hair colour, and will all be discussed during your consultation.
The first microblading eyebrow session at Spa Mosman will take approximately 2 hours, but the actual tattooing only takes around 45 minutes depending on the number of hair strokes required. Your “perfection visit” for touch-ups will occur after 6 weeks, and the session will be 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes.

OMBRE POWDER BROW TATTOO
Ombre Powder Brow Tattoo is a semi-permanent makeup technique where coloured pigment is gently inserted into the upper layers of the skin to create a soft, powdery finish, similar to using a brow powder makeup. This technique allows for a softer look and the desired fullness and shape of the eyebrow, and tends to last longer than microblading. The effects are smudge-proof, waterproof and totally realistic, and the pigment colour selection is based on your desired look, skin tone and hair colour. The full procedure takes approximately 2 hours, and touch-ups are recommended after 6 weeks to ensure the best results.
