FEATHER BROW TATTOO
Brow microblading, also known as feather stroke tattoo or feather brow tattoo, is a procedure that falls within the permanent cosmetic makeup category. Unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, the microblading eyebrow treatment is less invasive and considered semi-permanent, typically lasting 12 months to 2 years depending on your skin type and skincare routine at home.
The feather brow tattoo procedure is done using a hand tool with ultra-fine needles. Each "hair" is gently etched into the brow, resulting in an extremely natural and realistic look. This technique enables us to correct or fully reconstruct the brow. Pigment colour selection is based on your desired look, skin tone and hair colour. This will all be discussed within your initial consultation.
For the first microblading eyebrow session, the entire procedure will be approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, but the actual tattooing only takes approximately 45 minutes depending on the number of hair strokes required. You will then be scheduled for your "perfection visit", where any necessary touch-ups will occur. This is usually after 4 to 6 weeks, and the session will be 1.5 to 2 hours.

OMBRE POWDER BROW TATTOO -
Ombre Powder Brow is best described as a semi-permanent brow tint lasting from 18 months to 2 years. Brow tattooing has come a long way from the dark, heavy block brows seen on people in the 80s and 90s.
The latest tattoo technique is the powder brow tattoo, which is a type of permanent make up. Coloured pigment is inserted into the upper layers of the skin, with the brow artist creating the desired fullness and shape of the brow. A soft, powdery finish is achieved similar to the look of using a brow powder makeup. The tails of the brows are darker on the outer edge and then fade into a light finish at the start of the brow.
A small brow tattoo machine is used to achieve this look, and the effects will be a smudge-proof, waterproof and totally realistic brow. It also lasts longer than microblading eyebrow treatment, though this is dependent on the client’s skin type, lifestyle and homecare regime.
Pigment colour selection is based on your desired look, skin tone, hair colour. We will discuss this with you during your initial consultation.
Colours shown in the pictures below are just after the powder brow tattoo procedure and will fade by 40 to 50% for a nice natural result.
The full procedure will be approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. With the use of numbing cream, it’s relatively painless. As with mircroblading, you will need to book your "perfection visit" where any necessary touch-ups will occur after 4 to 6 weeks.
